The inaugural season for “Real Housewives of Potomac” got off to a rocky start. I was wondering why the women kept talking about etiquette. Come to find out that the show was originally supposed to be series about manners and “proper” behavior, and Andy and them over at Bravo scooped it up and made it a part of the Housewives franchise.
Boring ass Kati Frost (the one who kept begging that man to marry her) lost her man and lost her place on the show. Bye girl bye! She has been replaced by Monique Samuels, the wife of former professional NFLer Chris Samuels. From what I’ve seen, I like Monique. She’s pretty and can hold her own. Shady Giselle tried coming for Monique, but like Karen, she couldn’t find her. Speaking of Karen, she apparently heard us talking about her old house with her dated appliances. She has moved! Hopefully it’s not to a nursing home, considering her husband’s Social Security number is a single digit. Robyn is still allegedly broke and still chasing her ex-husband who doesn’t want her. Charrisse has removed the stick from her posterior and I believe she’s going to be a lot more interesting. She was probably acting up because her husband lived in another state (probably with another family). Finally, the show’s wild child Ashley is having problems with her restaurant..and with her dad husband.
Since “Real Housewives of Atlanta” was a bore this season (and the past few), they better watch their backs. The ladies from Potomac are coming for their throne.
“Real Housewives Of Potomac” returns April 2nd at 9PM/8C on Bravo!
As the circle of life continues and a new season begins, Gizelle is in the hot seat yet again for putting Charrisse’s troubled marriage out there for all of Potomac to judge. While Charrisse focuses on her kids and struggles to accept her new normal, single-and-always-ready-to-mingle, Gizelle sees sparks fly when a man from her past returns. With both her kids out of the house, Karen plans to upgrade to a bigger home. But Ray wants to downsize, and the queen of Potomac’s high standards put a strain on their search. Ashley’s Oz Restaurant and Bar is open for business, but the challenges of making it a success take a toll on her marriage and her baby plans. Also, Robyn and Juan’s financial hardships have forced them to move farther away from the ladies and lean more on each other. As the two adjust to their new life, Robyn must decide if she is finally ready to let Juan back into her heart. Outspoken Monique who is married to a former star athlete, joins the ladies this season and ruffles some feathers with her upscale lifestyle.
