Hot Spot: Brine Seafood Shack

A few months ago, I was strolling through the Avalon in Alpharetta, Georgia. After venturing into a few home decor boutiques, my stomach sent me an urgent reminder that I hadn’t eaten yet. I stumbled upon a little spot called Brine Seafood Shack. Being (ahem) bougie, I typically shy away from shacks- but I still wanted to check this place out. When I received my menu, my stomach growled in approval when my eyes scanned the lobster roll. “The lobster roll please. Large!”, is what I confidently told my server. After a brief wait, the moment of truth was upon me. My lobster roll arrived as if it were dropped from the heavenly firmament. The lobster was abundant and overflowed from the lightly toasted roll. I brushed my side of fries aside and dove right into my crustacean treasure. The lobster was perfect. It was buttery, sweet and tender. It was so good that I ate half of it, and saved the rest so I could devour it later. I ate a couple of my hush puppies, which were infused with bits of onions. I also tasted some of my fries, which were thin and crispy. However, these sides were just the Kelly and Michelle to the Beyoncé of the meal- the lobster roll. Brine Seafood Shack was a hit!
